Dutch Digital Arts

Gr1p board member Sandra Fauconnier works on a publication about the history digital arts in the Netherlands.

The publication serves as an introduction to the subject and must be interesting for a general audience. It will present an overview of approximately 100 highlights of digital arts in the Netherlands, dating from the early beginnings of computer art (around the 1950s) until the early 21st Century.

The publication has two parts that complement each other: a digital and a physical manifestation. As many texts and images as possible will be published online, on Wikimedia projects (Wikibooks, Wikimedia Commons), under free licenses. A hard copy book offers more extensive content, structure and context.

The editorial process of the book happens on Wikibooks: https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Dutch_Digital_Arts

Input is welcome there.
